Collection

PRESS START is essentially a pop art collection, with a neo classical influence on 3 classic video games. It’s a homage to some of the top most influential games in gaming history, Super Mario Bros.(1985), Street Fighter 2 (1992) and Mortal Kombat (1993).

The collection features, both Oil and Acrylic paintings; pixel perfect replicas of actual game graphics, some semi abstract acrylics and impressionist style oil paintings. The collection also includes some digital works; poster design, avatars, video and animation.

I love video games just as much as I love art and it was a lot of fun creating the collection, exploring the theme and playing with different mediums. I hope you have just as much fun exploring the collection as I had making it.
